John Coltrane, an American saxophone player who honed his skills under Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk in the 1950s, and from the 1960s onward became a legendary giant by extending the mode jazz established by Miles to a higher level, died in 1967, and in 1968 Alice After his death in 1967, Alice Coltrane released this album on her own in 1968. This album was licensed and released in 1969 by Impulse! A1 and B1 were recorded in 1966, just before his death, and A2 and B2 are by Alice Coltrane. The B2 by Alice Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders is also wonderful, and you can hear the melody that Pharoah Sanders would later quote from here
A2: Manifestation
B2: The Sun
