Andre Geraissati is a skilled guitarist from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and he made solo debut with the first album on Egberto Gismonti's Carmo label, and has performed with many MPB artists including Eduardo Agni, as well as with the guitar trio D'Alma formed with Ulisses Rocha and Rui Saleme. The album was released in 1989. His solo performance with viola and acoustic guitar is a masterpiece of perceptive acoustic sound, which depicts the natural scenery in a slow and emotional way with organic view of the world. The recording is also excellent, with the sound of scraped strings resonating vividly.
