Swiss electric harpist Andreas Vollenweider, known for his numerous releases of Balearic-tinged new age and ambient music, released this third album in 1984. The record features Budi Siebert, a multi-instrumentalist who left behind several masterpieces on the German new age label Biber Records. Although Vollenweider’s unique musical world was already fully formed by his debut album, this third work maintains the same exceptional level of quality. Delicate tones of the electric harp intertwine with celestial acoustic instruments to create a mystical, endlessly beautiful utopian soundscape—a true masterpiece.
