An album released in 1976 by American pianist Andrew Hill, who left numerous masterpieces on Blue Note from the mid-60s to the early 70s. It features live recordings from his performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1975. The track A1 showcases an endless flow of melodic fragments delivered in a staccato-like manner, and A2 continues with a similar approach, weaving even more exquisite melodies. These tracks, among others, demonstrate Hill's unique and endlessly remarkable ability for musical storytelling.
