A solo album released in 1981 by Canadian jazz singer Anne Marie Moss, who started her career in the 1950s and sang with numerous bands, including Count Basie and Maynard Ferguson. This is her only studio recording. The album features outstanding jazz vocal performances, backed by elegant and luxurious arrangements. Highlights include the slow ballad on A4, originally written for the film You Were Never Lovelier and famously performed by John Coltrane on his classic album Ballads. On A2, she delivers a bluesy rendition of a ballad tune written by Hoagy Carmichael and Paul Francis Webster in 1942. B3 stands out with its exquisite progression, beginning with a soft introduction featuring a gentle trumpet and string ensemble before developing into an emotional climax.
