This is the first live album by Art Ensemble of Chicago, released in 1975 from Toshiba Records' BYG Jazz Collection 1500 series. This is a live recording of a concert held in Paris, France in 1969. 2 albums including this song were released in the US and UK in 1980, but this Japanese version was the earliest release. 46 minutes on both sides of the album is a tremendous performance of organic improvisation with African indigenousness and ritualism.
