An album released in 1979 by Art Lande, a composer/keyboardist from New York, USA, who has left many works for ECM. Produced by Mark Isham. The side A "The Story of Ned Tra-La" was recorded live at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, California in 1977 and features a piano solo by Lande. The side B was performed by the sextet includes Mark Isham, Bill Douglass, Kurt Wortman, Bruse Williamson, and Mark Miller. Each is a cinematic and dreamy deep jazz work that unfolds like a fantastical world drawn of a soundtrack inspired by a fictional story.
