The Art of Primitive Sound, a project led by Walter Maioli and featuring Patricia Meyer and Luce Maioli, originally released on cassette tape in 1991, is the first album to be released on analog format in 2022. This is a collection of delusional ancient music that gets to the rather essential parts of the music, in which Maioli, who is also a music archaeologist, uses animal bones, plants, and stones as instruments based on his research into the soundscapes of geographical, climatic, and vegetative environments related to the Paleolithic period. The whole piece is wonderful.
