This album is a collaboration between Art Studio, an Italian jazz quartet active since the seventies, and Tiziana Ghiglioni, an amazing female jazz singer. From experimental pieces with complex melodic lines to floating atmospheric pieces, this is a masterpiece of deep jazz with a very sophisticated yet primitive feeling. There are also some great ethnic tunes like A4, where Ghiglioni's magical scatting and floating psychedelic guitars swim over the organic rhythmic phrases of the minimalist marimba refrain. The sound quality is also excellent with a very deep sound. Highly recommended.
