This is the 1973 album released by the group Association P.C., which brought together musicians from the Netherlands and Germany. The lineup includes Jasper Van't Hof on electric piano, Pierre Courbois on drums, Toto Blanke on guitar, and Siggi Busch on bass. The album is a live recording from a concert held in 1972 at the Audiotorium Maximum of the University Freiburg. The music on this album features an incredibly aggressive rhythm section, with Van't Hof's electric piano and Blanke's guitar soaring as if they are transmitting signals to outer space, reminiscent of Sun Ra. It's a highly psychedelic and otherworldly form of electric jazz-rock. Van't Hof hadn't yet introduced the PPG Wave Synthesizer at this point, but his unique and overflowing personality is already evident. Highly recommended.
