The original soundtrack album for the 1985 film "Tango - Gardel's Exile" directed by Fernando E. Solanas, featuring music by Astor Piazzolla, the Argentine bandoneon player who revolutionized the tango world. The album features Piazzolla's bandoneon with Suarez Paz (violin), Oscar Lopez Ruiz (guitar), Pablo Ziegler (piano), Hector Consoli (contrabass) and others. The A-side is a vocal piece and the B-side is an instrumental piece, and the performance on the B-side is extremely sophisticated and wonderfully arranged and performed. Highly recommended. This is the Japanese pressing with fresh sound quality.
