This is the second self-produced album by multi-instrumentalist Ayumi Takahashi, who is the son of Yuji Takahashi, one of Japan's leading contemporary musicians. The executive producer was Ryuichi Sakamoto, and the participating musicians were Takehisa Kosugi and Carlos Alomar. The album features a simple rhythm section layered with electric guitars and floating vocals reminiscent of Morrisey of The Smiths, neo-acoustic UK indie rock, blues rock like Tom Waits, European popular music and vocals using a vocoder. The good thing about his albums is that they always contain experimental tracks. In this album, he also presents wonderful experimental music, such as A5, which is a sound art style of acoustic drones layered with a foreign woman's poetry, and B5, in which Takehisa Kosugi's spatial violin performance is layered on top of the drone and voice improvisation. A5 has a more artistic style.

A5: From J.S.P. (New Year’s Eve, 1956)
B5: Birds of Paradise
