This is the 2nd leader album released by the American saxophonist Azar Lawrence in 1975. He has also contributed to notable works like MyCoy Tyner's and Woody Shaw's groups, as well as Mtume and Black Renaissance. The album features a lineup of talented musicians, including Ron Carter on bass, Billy Hart on drums, and Albert Dailey on piano, as well as Latin musicians like Raul de Souza on trombone, Amaury Tristao on guitar, Dom Salvador on bass, and Guilherme Franco on drums and percussion. Together, they create an organic and soaring crossover jazz sound throughout the entire album, reminiscent of the sound found in Pharoah Sanders' classic 'Thembi.' Every track on this album is exceptional. This particular version was released domestically in 1976.
