Azoto was a project by renowned producer Celso Valli, who is known for producing numerous Italo disco classics, including Tantra's "Hills of Kat Mandu." This is their debut album, originally released in 1978. The version here is the Japanese domestic edition, released in 1979 under a different title by the fashion brand Jun's label. The album showcases uplifting disco tracks with flashy, extravagant arrangements. The standout is undoubtedly the opening track on side A, a disco arrangement of a traditional tune, which was also released as a single that same year.
