The album was released in 1976 and features Paul Bley, one of Canada's leading jazz pianists, who has played with the Ornette Coleman Quartet and Jazz Composer's Orchestra, as well as with his own group, and bassist Gary Peacock, a close friend of Bley's, and American drummer Barry Altschul, who has played on sessions with many important musicians. This is the Japanese version, released in the same year as the US version. Both sides feature Annette Peacock's compositions with improvisation, 15:55 on side A and 17:13 on side B. Bley's piano is still unique, while Peacock's bass and Altschul's drums respond to it. A brilliant deep sessions.
