One of the most innovative bassists in the free/experimental jazz scene, Barre Phillips released this album on ECM in 1978, featuring a core instrumentation of members such as Terje Rypdal (g,og), Dieter Feichtner (synth) and Trilok Gurtu (per). The album is a deep contemporary jazz album with a spiritual and crossover orientation that overturns the previous image of Barre Phillips. The synthesizer by Dieter Feichtner creates a deeper illusion and a three-dimensional soundscape. The entire album is a masterpiece.
