An album released in 1979 by the group 360 Degree Music Experience, led by American drummer Beaver Harris, who delivered exceptional performances through numerous sessions with artists like Archie Shepp, Marion Brown, and Grachan Moncur III. Participating in the album are Ken McIntyre (alto saxophone, flute), Grachan Moncur III (trombone), Cameron Brown (bass), and Rahn Burton (piano). The album showcases a masterpiece of crossover spiritual jazz with rich ethnic flavors throughout its entirety. The extended session of A1 features a smooth waltz beat with warm and melodious interplay between the alto saxophone and trombone. A2 brings forth an Afro-Brazilian rhythm, accompanied by the delightful solo of the flute. The album concludes with B3, an excellent drum solo by Harris. Notably, Burton's piano work is incredibly stylish. Highly recommended.
