This is a 1981 leader album by American jazz saxophonist Bennie Wallace, who has also performed with Franco Ambrosetti's group and George Gruntz's big band. The trio consists of Eddie Gomez on bass and Dannie Richmond on drums, with Jimmy Knepper on trombone joining for tracks A2, A4, and B3, forming a quartet. The album features compositions by Thelonious Monk throughout, with Wallace's tenor saxophone and Knepper's trombone gently intertwining in A2 and a mystical rendition of the classic "Round About Midnight" in A4, where Knepper's trombone is prominently featured, highlighting Monk's idiosyncrasies with their unique interpretations.
