This album was released in 1986 by Bireli Lagrene, a French guitarist who developed his talent at a young age and has been a prominent figure in gypsy jazz since the early 1980s. The album was recorded live at a concert in Switzerland in May 1986, with special guests Larry Coryell (g) and Miroslav Vitous (b). Coryell and Vitous are not as aggressive as their leader albums, but play a beautiful, nostalgic and melancholy sounding contemporary jazz, in tune with Lagrene's dry acoustic guitar gypsy jazz.
