Booker Little is an American trumpeter who played with Johnny Gliffin and others in Chicago in the 1950s, and after moving to New York, he played with Max Roach and Eric Dorphy, and recorded many of his own leader albums. This posthumous album was recorded one month before Little's death and features Julien Priester (tb), George Coleman (ts), Don Freedman (p), Reggie Workman (b), and other up-and-coming musicians of the time. The entire performance is soulful and cool. This Japanese pressing was released in 1992 on Nippon Columbia's The Supreme Collection of Bethlehem.
