This was featured in the guidebooks "OBSCURE SOUNDSOUND". The third and final album by Codona, released in 1982, by three spiritual musicians Collin Walcott, Don Cherry and Nana Vasconcelos.and the ultimate in force-world jazz. A1, a spiritual number arranged with traditional Japanese music, A2, with its gentle sound of bilimbau and kalimba and wonderful vocal interplay between the three musicians, and B2, a contemporary musical piece made entirely with voice overdubs. The worldview and sound that could only be achieved by these three is unfurled over the entire album. The trip-oriented cosmic mandala music B4 is the highest achievement as the final track of Codona. Highly recommended.
