This is a 1976 best-of album compiling early recordings by singer Carmen Maki, who made her stage debut with Shuji Terayama's theater group, Tenjo Sajiki, and took the music world by storm in 1969 with her debut single, "Toki ni wa Haha no Nai Ko no Yoni." The album includes her iconic track along with selections from her first three albums: Mayonaka Shishu: Rosoku no Kieru Made, Adam to Eve, and Goodbye My Memories. Highlights include B1, a psychedelic rock track produced by Kuni Kawachi, as well as three standout songs from her critically acclaimed second album, Adam to Eve. Highly recommended.
