Cassell Webb, a folk singer from Texas, USA who was a member of the garage rock group The Children, released this album in 1989 on Venture, a new age sub-label of Virgin Records. As with the other album released on the same label in 1987, Craig Leon, an American composer who has worked with Ramones, Blondie, and many others, co-produced the album with Cassell Webb, and also arranged and played many of the instruments. The album is based on American music, such as rock, country, and folk, but has a wide variety of styles, from powerful songs with a new wave flavor to ballads with Cassell Webb's lovely vocals.
