A collaboration album between Sinkichi, a Kyoto-based DJ, creator, and mastering engineer, and CazU-23, guitarist of Turtle Island. Both artists make full use of their custom-built modular synthesizer setups, with CazU-23 also incorporating a 1970s Teisco guitar and Sinkichi layering in a wealth of field recordings he had collected, resulting in a deeply immersive improvisational work. Recording was handled by KND of Soft. True to its title, the album unfolds like a cascade of electronic sound raining down to earth from a star-filled sky, creating a masterpiece of experimental ambient music. Highly recommended.
