This is a solo album by Congolese singer/songwriter Celi Bitshou (Bitshu), who has been a member of Franco's Orchestre T.P.O.K. Jazz and Orchestre Mi Amor since the early 70s. This is a great album of four long, danceable, Afro-beat-influenced Congo rock songs with double guitars and brass swaying over bouncing percussion and shuffling drums. Bitshou's music is different from other Congolese rockers in that you can feel the indigenous nature of Congolese folk music. Recommended.
