The album was released in 1988 by Chaba Zahouania, an Algerian female singer who emerged from the Pop Rai scene, an emerging dance music scene that emerged from the Algerian community living in France and became known worldwide due to the world music movement that flourished in the 1980s. The album was released in 1988. Her previous works were only released on cassette tape, and this is her first record as a world debut. While introducing synthesizers and other electronics, the music has strong elements of traditional Algerian music among the many rai born at that time, and most of the songs are characterized by the interplay of 70~100 BPM and double speed performances. The psychedelic atmosphere of the arrangements is good, and Zahouania's husky vocals with their distinctive buzz are appealing.
