Pianist Chick Corea and vibraphonist Gary Burton released their most recent album together in 1983, "Crystal Silence" on ECM in 1973, followed by "Duet" in 1979 and "In Concert, Zurich, October 28, 1979" in 1980. As the title suggests, the two violinists have been performing together since 1983. As the title suggests, this is a lyric suite by a sextet featuring two violinists, a viola, and a cello, incorporating classical idioms into jazz. However, the composer of this work, Chick Corea, has used his extraordinary discretion to create a unique world that is not like classical music, but develops through various phases. Original German edition.
