Christian Lavigne
Vent Du Sud (France) 1986
VS 104 (LP) coated sleeve.
sleeve : EX-(tear and peel-off of coat.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly surface noises, still good condition.)

Christian Lavigne is a French pianist who has also appeared on Michel Marre's 1985 album "Y'a Quelpu'un Dans La Cabane", which was featured in the OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION guidebook. The trio with Henri Texier, a famous bassist, and Jacques Mahieux, a drummer, plays modal post-bop music, but it is sublimated into spiritual jazz with very deep communion, which is also very austere. As is the case with the two aforementioned works, there is a lot of good French jazz around here. Texir's bass and Mahieux's drums are also excellent.
