A very obscure record has arrived. This is the only album released in 1992 by Austrian multi-instrumentalist Christoph Kopf and percussionist Josef Limberger, produced independently. Kopf also released works on CD in the 2000s and seems to still be active today, but there is no information available about Limberger. The album features an organic ensemble with acoustic guitar, percussion, the Slovak overtone flute fujara—which changes its tone with variations in breath intensity—and the Siberian jaw harp. The music presents an ethnic new-age crossover, rooted in the traditional sounds of India, Tibet, Celtic, and Alpine regions. It is an exceptionally outstanding work, with every track being superb.
