This is a solo album released in 1986 by Christy Doran, a jazz guitarist from Dublin, Ireland who has released quality works on ECM/JAPO including the experimental jazz-rock group OM. The album features A1, where wet melodies are layered over minimal repetitive arpeggios and harmonics, and A2, which has an amazing three-dimensional perspective reminiscent of Achim Reichel's echo guitar. It's reminiscent of Pat Metheny's classic Steve Reich composition "Electric Counterpoint", but with free improvisation.
