This is the second album by percussionist Collin Walcott, who was member of Oregon, Codona, and coraborated many other jazz artists, on ECM in 1977. The combination of Don Cherry's Dusun Gowni, Dom Rom Romao's Berimbau and Collin Walcott's sitar is a perfect prelude to Codona. The organic ethnic sound of A2, the delicate sound of sitar and wood flute flying in the air in the tense atmosphere of A3/B4, etc... This is a masterpiece of spiritual worldview with a pleasant tension and openness. All the songs are unquestionably the best.
A2: Gold Sun
B1: Jewel Ornament
