Released in 1987 on the excellent Italian label Splasc(h) Records, this album by pianist Cosmo Intini and The Jazz Set features the talents of Francesco Puglisi (b), Paolo Fresu (tp,fh), Fabio Tullio (as), Enrico Ghelardi(bs) are some of the most talented musicians of the Italian new jazz scene since the late 80's, and American drummer John Arnold joins them on this album. The best tracks are A1, with an excellent acoustic bass solo by Francesco Puglisi, and B2, with its flugelhorn swaying against the soft touch of the rhythm section.
