This is the only album released in 1989 by the D.D. Band, a one-off group of eight Italian jazz musicians, including Enzo Favata and Massimo Carboni, who have been active in the Italian jazz scene since the late 1980s. The album contains some very good tracks, such as A3, an ambient jazz track in which the floating pad sound of a Roland D-50 is layered with the soft melody of a soprano saxophone, and A4, an ambient jazz track in which a soprano saxophone is layered over the floating pad sound of a Roland D-50, which gives the track a pleasant feeling like the gentle sunlight shining through. B1, a contemporary jazz track with a pleasant, sunlight-like feel, and B2, featuring the vocals of Giovanna Piasno, a female singer who has also participated in Piero Marras' works, are highly recommended.
