The first album by the group Dansley, formed around the string player Ichiro Okamoto, released in 1981. The album features arrangements by Yuji Takahashi and Masahiko Sato. Using traditional instruments from all over the world, including lute, shamisen, viola, recorder, Saracen guitar, rebec, psaltery, etc., the group performed a highly original acoustic ensemble based on Western classical music mixed with elements of Asian folk music. This work is unique in Japan. The simple and gentle sound of the ensemble is soothing. At the time Ryuichi Sakamoto liked the album very much, and it led to the album "The End of Asia" with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Dansley the following year.
