Following "Planet Q" by Kyoko Takenaka and Tomoki Sanders, this is the third release from the LA label IN SHEEPS CLOTHING HI-FI. The album features American bassist Daniel Aged, who is also active as a member of the sibling unit Inc. and No World. It is a four-track album released in 2020, which includes unreleased tracks added to "Bass Improvisations Pt.1." The album presents a contemporary take on ambient jazz, with drones created by processed bass and guitar refrains slowly painting shadows. It evokes a world similar to that of Jonny Nash and Suzanne Kraft. Highly recommended.
