An album released in 1980 by American saxophonist David Murray, who has stood out in numerous sessions since the mid-1970s. This is the first installment of live recording from a solo concert held in Nyon, Switzerland, the same year. The album opens with a stunning tenor sax solo, blasting out continuous minimal phrases, and includes an emotional performance of the title track from his 1976 album 'Flowers for Albert' on B3. The vivid recording captures every breath, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in Murray's world. Particularly noteworthy is the performance on bass clarinet in A2, which is both wildly intense and richly emotional.
A1: Both feet on the Ground
A2: B.C.
