Dennis Young, a member of the group Liquid Liquid, one of the leading groups of the American No Wave scene, have been played by various DJs over the years as dance classics. This solo album was originally released on cassette in 1987 under the name Dennis Andrew through his independent label. This original analog pressing has been reissued as part of the New Age Series by South Korea’s Hee Jee Records, a label known for licensing works from numerous major international artists. The album is a stunning example of pure New Age music, created entirely with electronics and percussion. It features shimmering synthesizer sounds layered with his soft, transparent vocals and spans from radiant, melodic tracks to deep, meditative compositions reminiscent of a mandala-like soundscape. Every track is a gem—there’s not a single filler in this exquisite New Age electronics masterpiece. Highly recommended.
