This album was released in 1984 as a Japanese analog version, thanks to the efforts of Toyo Nakamura, featuring songs by Detty Kurnia and Aan Darwati, female singers representing Indonesian pop Jaipong and Sunda pops from West Java, originally from a cassette release. The album is filled with Indonesian pop music that could be called "oriental tropicalismo," featuring the warm, inviting melodies of vocals over the vibrant rhythm of gongs and two-sided drums called Kendang, which are used in small Gamelan ensembles to play the Degung scale. There are also many similarities to Japanese popular songs. The quirky synthesizer sounds are quite interesting.
