This is a compilation album released in 1985, edited by Toyo Nakamura from cassettes released in 1983 and 1984 by Detty Kurnia, one of the leading female singers of the Indonesian pop style called Jaipong. While boldly introducing electronic instruments such as synthesizers, the album contains plenty of warm pop music with the warm melody of the Indonesian folk instrument Surin and the gentle and soft voice of Kurnia. Jaipongan A3/B4/B5, a folk tune with a small gamelan dugun, is the best of all. A2 in particular has a peaceful sound that reminds me of the ending song of "Sazae-san" composed by Kyohei Tsutsumi.
