This 1989 album by the Brazilian string ensemble Dharana, led by violinist/guitarist Alex Braga and guitarist Roberto Gomes, with guitarists Edson Natal and Toninho Mattos also participating, was produced by Andre Geraissati. The opening track A1 features layered acoustic guitar arpeggios with violin and viola unison weaving a nostalgic melody. Track A2 stands out for its beautiful interplay between the violin's delicate, minimalist refrains and the pastoral feel of the acoustic guitar. This little-known gem showcases a refined acoustic ensemble performance characterized by spiritual intensity and outstanding technical prowess, reminiscent of artists like Michael Hedges, Steve Tibbetts, and Wolfgang Barthel. Every track is excellent. The inside of the gatefold cover includes autographs from all members.
There is a slight shift in the centre hole on the B-side, and a very slight sound shaking can be felt in the innermost part, but it is almost unnoticeable. Please check the sample of B5.
