Featured in the first edition of the guidebook "obscure sound", this is the remarkable debut album released in 1983 by the German duo Diethelm/Famulari, consisting of guitarist Thomas Diethelm, who has released albums produced by Irmin Schmidt of Can's Spoon Records, and pianist/keyboardist Santino Famulari. The album features guest appearances by Trilok Gurtu, the Indian percussionist known for his work on numerous ethnic jazz albums and his contributions to Oregon following Collin Walcott's passing. The album seamlessly blends Diethelm's beautiful guitar sounds, crafted with multiple delays and harmonizers, with Famulari's delicate and airy synthesizer tones, complemented by Gurtu's ethnically flavored percussion, resulting in a lush New Age music filled with positive energy. Especially noteworthy is the perfect sound of the over 9-minute long track A1. The tropical tune A3, with its delightful contrast with the synthesizers, is also exceptional. It leaves one feeling refreshed. Simply marvelous.

A1: The Flyer
A3: Basta!
