Danish guitarist Pierre Dorge, known worldwide for his work with SteepleChase and for his group Pierre Dorge & Jungle Orchestra, which heavily incorporates African music, released this album in 1986. It was created with members of the Jungle Orchestra, including Irene Becker, Morten Carlsen, and Marilyn Mazur. This side project of the Jungle Orchestra showcases a sophisticated Nordic jazz atmosphere, deep ambiance, and an experimental approach, resulting in an overlooked masterpiece of contemporary jazz. The album exudes a unique sense of floatiness throughout. Highly recommended.
