The first album by Double Image, an irregular quartet consisting of David Friedman (vib, marimba, per), David Samuels (vib, marimba, tabla, per), Harvie Swartz (b) and Michael DiPasqua (dr,per). DiPasqua's solid drumming and Swartz's bass on A3 and Samuels' tabla on B1, etc. The duo of Friedman and Samuels play the xylophone/tekkon and the groove-filled rhythm section adds an ethnic flavor to this contemporary jazz of the highest standard.
A3: Truce
B1: Rag-Out
