This is the original soundtrack for the film "Kuarup" directed by Ruy Guerra, with music by Egberto Gismonti, one of Brazil's most brilliant composers, who continues to express his unique musical world with sound-making that transcends genres and styles, rooted in the primitive soul of the Amazon. The album opens with a gentle, nostalgic bamboo flute solo performed by Gismonti himself, followed by the excellent mystical development of A5, which makes you feel as if you've wandered into a jungle. A7 features a captivating rhythm created by percussions with a wet tone, interwoven with strings and synthesizers floating in the sound field. The entire album is filled with organic music of grand scale, evoking nature, constructed with a 20-member orchestra. Gismonti has been highly acclaimed as a composer for his scores, especially full orchestral works, but his talent has been on another level for over 20 years.

A5: Urucum
A7: a Danca da Floresta
