Enja Records (Germany) 1977
enja 2096 (LP) Original pressing. coated sleeve.
sleeve : VG+(color-faded, some light dirts.)
media : EX-/EX-(some slightly surface noises caused by slightly hairlines.)

This is the first album released in 1977 by Double Image, an irregular quartet consisting of David Friedman (vib, marimba, per), David Samuels (vib, marimba, tabla, per), Harvie Swartz (b) and Michael DiPasqua (dr,per), all jazz musicians well known for their ECM works. The album includes A3 with Michael DiPasqua's solid drumming and Harvie Swartz's bass, B1 with the effective tabla sound by David Samuels, and more. The ethnic flavor of this jazz album is also reflected in the groove-filled rhythm section, which is intertwined with the xylophone/tekkoto duo of David Friedman and David Samuels. Original German pressing.
