This is the original soundtrack album by Eric Serra for the film "Le Grand Bleu" directed by Luc Besson. The theme song A1, with its synthesized dolphin sounds and deep drone sounds, and A4, with its thick pad sounds that evoke the feeling of diving deep into the ocean, and the body-swelling attack of the synth drums, are all part of this album. This is one of the most important soundtracks of the 1980s that should be preserved for posterity, as well as an excellent new age piece.
