This album was released in 1981 as the fourth in a series of albums entitled Keba Na Matraque, released in the early eighties under the name Franco de Mi Amor by Franco Luambo, one of the most important international representatives of Congolese music. The T.P.O.K. Jazz Band, featuring guitarist Lutumba Simaro, who was one of the main supporters of Congolese music from the 60s to the 80s, plays an excellent and warm groove, and the beautiful and soft voice of the vocalist/chorus decorates the whole album.
