This album, released in 1970 and recorded in the MPS Studio, showcases the renowned Austrian jazz pianist Friedrich Gulda, who has been active at the forefront since the early 1950s, seamlessly crossing the realms of jazz and classical music. The trio formation includes Klaus Weiss (drums) and J.A. Rettenbacher (bass). In this work, you can fully enjoy Gulda's distinctive piano play, showering down like a squall. Notably, the covers of "All Blues," a collaboration between Miles Davis and Oscar Brown Jr., and the historic masterpiece "Light My Fire" by The Doors are exceptional. Be sure to give them a listen. This is the first edition Japanese release with an obi, part of the <MPS Jazz Series>, from Japan Columbia in 1971.
