The album was released in 1981 by the jazz trio of Budapest-born pianist George Vukan, Hungarian bassist Balazs Berkes, and Greek drummer/percussionist George Trantalidis, who emerged as one of the leaders of the Hungarian jazz scene after participating in performances by Clark Terry's International Big Band and Dizzy Gillespie's Band in Warsaw and Prague. In the early 70's, these Hungarian musicians performed at a jazz club in Greece, which led to a series of jam sessions with Greek jazz musicians, and this album is a result of those sessions. You can enjoy the excellent performances from modal to contemporary, including A1 and B1, where the rhythm section full of Latin feeling and the piano with a light touch are expressive.

A1: One More Athens
B1: Madrid
B4: Gomez's Ostinato
