American vibraphonist Gary Burton and Chick Corea, one of the leading pianists in the US jazz world, released a duo album in 1979, six years after the classic album "Crystal Silence" released by ECM in 1973.
Starting with A1, a 15 minutes and 28 seconds-long performance of Corea's famous suite of compositions, which shows various expressions as it changes from the beginning with rhythmical phrases, this is a very pleasant duo performance colored by fresh tones and melodies that seem to spread to every corner of the body from beginning to end. B3 is a song from Corea's historical masterpiece "Return to Forever," which was also introduced in the guidebook "obscure sound. It is a piece that you just want to listen to without thinking about anything else.
